“Why are you shooting arrows at people?” Minho demands.
“I’m a cupid?” the guy says, and Minho thinks— oh, maybe he should have realized, if guardian angels are a thing, then it’s definitely probable that cupids are real too. “Why are you down here?”
“I’m a guardian angel,” Minho says. “You shot at my charge’s friend.”
(Minho's job is to protect Jeongin from any accidents. Seungmin's job is to get Felix a boyfriend. Their paths cross one day, and much to Minho's irritation, it turns out that Seungmin doesn't even need to shoot him with an arrow for him to fall in love.)

Felix bites his lip before answering, looking out at the water again. “I've been looking out of that tower window for twenty years, dreaming about what it would feel like when those lights rise in the sky. What if it's not everything that I dreamed it would be?”
“It will be.”
“And what if it is? What then?” Felix turns to meet Chan’s eyes.
Chan smiles, bringing the oars down to rest in his lap. “Well that's the good part, I guess. You get to go find a new dream.”
