Regulus is an incredible genius and an even more oblivious cinnamon roll. A sweet summer child capable of many a dark deed. Severus needs to get his shit together because Reggie deserves better and he's never gonna get it for himself.
Fawkes has decided for the council of birbs that Flamel will teach Reggie Auspeach, but Flamel is angry with this demand as he knows Reg is an (ex-)death eater and a murderer (as he mercy-killed Herpo's love/Herpo).

Daenerys took a breath, and asked the question that had plagued her ever since leaving King’s Landing. “Your brother, the king, only lost his betrothed, and he hates me. Eddard Stark lost over half his family because of mine, and yet he will welcome me as his kin?” Her voice rose at the last, as she was no longer able to hide her disbelief, her fear.
“Ned Stark is a man of honor,” Stannis said. “He has no interest in avenging his family by tormenting you.” Unlike the king, neither of them said aloud.

Just a joy to read! Plenty of politics, romance, and found family. The soulmate bit is subtle and well-done. There is enough drama, both interpersonal and in general, to satisfy without becoming overwhelming.
