    Just when Jacob was drifting off into the peaceful land of dreams, his ears perked up in surprise.

    'I don't know. It's hard to move on from everything that's happened...But, if I ever did, it'd take a lot of time,' Jacob lifted his head to face the source of the freezing temperature, which seemed to be nicely snuggled into his left side.
