Though, the weighing situation everyone had failed to think of was the fact that Steve had nowhere to go, nobody to return to.
The real world was a lot more different and difficult than his recent blocky one. Steve had no money, no house, no job. Didn't even know how to do taxes
Garrett stood blinking and dumbfounded at everyone as they looked at him for resolve. He knew he'd said all that good stuff about Steve before and had even wanted him to come back with him so he could have a real friend his age. But he also hadn't come to the realization of what they'd do with Steve now that he was here… And he certainly hadn't thought Steve would be staying with him.
