Summary
a beautiful poet who has lost the ability to view all the colors of the world,
whose lips could once produce such moving words,
lost to the indigo flowers that grow from his mouth.the golden boy whose sun has forsaken him,
who casts its light on other people,
who allows others to cast shadows on those he deemed beneath him.they were once red, now they are blue, a color lost to the winds of time,
tied together by lotus’ and vines,
but never together at all.

AU - sequel to 'Broken Fragments'
Long ago, a dragon made a pilgrimage across the great ocean to Pantala, in the hopes of finding one last miracle that could rewrite the threads of time and change the fate of all. That was two thousand years ago, and now a determined Moonwatcher is following in her footsteps, searching for a lost friend in this new and strange world.
But she will uncover more than she bargained for. As she discovers new tribes of dragons living in strange cities where there are eyes everywhere, dragons lay in chains and the walls themselves seem to hide terrible secrets that yearn to kill her, to hunt her, to feed on her... With few allies and even fewer friends, Moon must go to the ends of the earth to uncover the secrets that have long since been buried and forgotten. She must be willing to do whatever it takes if she is to save the world from an evil not even the fearsome Darkstalker is prepared to face. And above all she must finally confront the truth of her past life and face its dire consequences...

There were a million other places Jesper wanted to be on a Saturday morning. Instead, he was sitting in the basement of their high school in a crusty chair with gum stuck to the bottom and Screw Van Eck!!! written in very angry print on the desk.
If he was looking for a sign from the universe, that might as well have been it.

Summary
Grayson Hawthorne has always been good at keeping secrets. This one might be an exception. When it becomes clear that Tobias Hawthorne's death wasn't natural, Grayson's life turns upside down. Having known about his grandfather's murder, he is faced with an impossible choice, but his decision might be able to keep the death undercover and protect the Hawthornes' reputation. Naturally, the only course of action is dooming himself.
Avery Grambs has always been good at uncovering secrets. This one might be an exception. With the announcement of Tobias Hawthorne's murder, she becomes a detective, making choices she never thought she'd have to, turning against people she believed she knew. The endeavor isn't pretty, but it's her job to discover who killed Tobias Hawthorne, and nothing is going to stand in her way. But sometimes, knowing the answers is worse than being in the dark.
Thrust into a game orchestrated by a killer, Avery and Grayson must work together to expose the murderer, who is closer to home than either of them wants to admit. Soon, they're going to have to decide who they can trust...and that may not include each other.
The fact that they're falling in love isn't going to make it any easier.
