Summary
“You’re early for practice today.” No shit, Sherlock.
Techno approached and sat next to him with a handkerchief in hand, wiping off the sweat that trickled down Quackity’s forehead. His touch was soothing and cold to his warm face. A part of him wanted to lean on his gentle touch and let his cheeks cool off by those big hands. For ‘sworn enemies’, their position was rather intimate but neither said it out loud and let it stay that way.
“That’s because I don’t want to practice with you, Watson,” Quackity whispered, only to hear a light chuckle from Techno as he tucked the handkerchief back in his pocket. Yet neither has backed away, their eyes still stared at each other, bodies still so close, Quackity’s hands itched to either grab that neck or wrap his arms around it. The latter was definitely a no.
“And why’s that, Awe?” Techno pressed. His hot breath hitting his face. Mm, minty.
“Easy, ’cause you’re a fucking dick.”

Quackity scowls at him. “You want some fucking honesty, Wilbur? Get your ass out my office right fucking now. I don’t know how you got in here or why you thought it was a good idea, but get OUT.” Quackity shouts. Wilbur might have believed him if his face wasn’t flushed.
Wilbur saunters closer, his hands loose in his pockets. “Where’s the fun in that?” Wilbur smiles, leaning close to Quackity. Quackity matches him until their faces are just inches away and Wilbur can smell the smoke in his breath.
“I’m telling you, Wilbur, get out now or I will make you.”
“Then make me.”
The words are barely out of Wilbur’s mouth before he’s being shoved into the wall. His head smacks against the drywall painfully but he doesn’t wince. He’s taller than Quackity, sure, but the man packs a punch. And this is a fight Wilbur almost doesn’t want to win, with his arms pinned to the wall and Quackity’s face right up against his own.
