Summary
The Herald is gone.
Assumed dead for a year, as the Breach and lyrium-sickness spread beneath the Elder One. The world is on its knees and most have all but given up, but Cullen Rutherford has learned that Leliana is alive and held captive by Alexius. He will not leave her to a slow, brutal death by torture.
Unwilling to wait around until the world decides to collapse in on itself, the Commander of the fallen Inquisition stages a final, desperate rescue attempt. If it results in his death, than he will go gladly into the Maker's embrace.
