He has absolute power over the team and runs it like a malevolent dictator. Spencer is still on Dilaudid to cope with the stresses of being on the team. He doesn't show signs of getting better. JJ's new role instead of being a media liaison seems to be existing only for the male gaze. Derek only cares about sex, drugs and parties, which will only cause even more havoc on an already unstable team. How will Emily survive?

This is an amalgam of various plots from The Dark Knight, Batman v Superman, and what's currently going on in reality to give a dark and more adult themed story where it shows the aftermath and consequences of voting poorly and how it affects those around you and the slow, painful journey the US would take to recover from the aftermath of the poor and corrupt policies of the previous two presidents with a negative stain on the reputation of America and how the country can come back from it.
This shows the slow path America takes in order to eventually rise fully from the abyss the country is in because of the choices politicians and the American people made that brought about negative consequences and how it breeds extremities.
