Okay, so maybe Lenore was more than willing to indulge her lover in her debauchery, even when exhausted out of her mind, but it wasn’t like she was ever going to admit it. Annabel would never let her live it down if she ever knew that, and her humongous ego didn’t need another boost for the third time this week.
Annabel Lee was a terror to face once she had gotten an idea into her head, and lucky for her, Lenore was just as chaotic and headstrong too.

“Listen, I know the sweater is ugly, but it’s rude to stare,” Shane said peevishly. He was overstimulated and wanted to go home, the last thing he needed was some dickhead staring at him.
Ilya took a long drag of his cigarette, eyes still not leaving Shane.
“Maybe staring is not bad thing,” Ilya said. “Maybe I stare because you are very pretty.”
Shane floundered before he could form real words. “Well. That’s stupid.”
