He held up his left hand to show off the ring on his finger. It was all so new, Ilya’s breath still hitched sometimes when he caught sight of it.While out on an accidental double-date after camp one night, Ilya thanks Scott for his bravery in 2017.

Ilya took a long drag of his cigarette, eyes still not leaving Shane.
“Maybe staring is not bad thing,” Ilya said. “Maybe I stare because you are very pretty.”
Shane floundered before he could form real words. “Well. That’s stupid.”
