    After Dolores Umbridge becomes Hogwarts’ new defence against the dark arts teacher, Harry decides something must be done about her and her appalling tutelage and misinformation. Surprisingly, the hatred of their new simpering pink professor spreads further than just Harry and his friends. Far enough that even those who he once considered enemies are now tentative allies. But how much is unity against Umbridge and how much is something more?

    DISCLAIMER: I wrote this story a while ago and no longer like it that much or feel like it reflects my current writing ability. This is not to say you can't read or enjoy it, I'm keeping it up for those reasons because I know it can be annoying when people delete fics and I think it shows my writing progress.     Five years after leaving Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy has found his place in Wizarding society, as a young and promising wandmaker at the famous Ollivander's. He has a job that interests him, friends he likes, a comfortable home, and a routine that he sticks to. However, when he loses someone close to him, and faces from his past begin resurfacing, he realises that the balance he has carefully constructed in his life isn't as stable as he thought.
    Harry Potter isn't quite sure what to do with himself. After throwing himself headfirst into everything he's ever done, he's dealing with a hell of a headache and confusion over where to go from here. His friends are busy, his work is relaxed, and no one seems to want anything from him anymore. Instead of feeling relieved, however, he feels adrift. With nothing to occupy him, his mind starts to wander, and he begins thinking more about the past, specifically people from his past...and conversations left unfinished.
