“Hey! I thought your phone got taken away after that stunt you pulled in Chem,” Louis said brightly, relieved her best friend was going to rescue her from her awful reading assignment, even if it was only temporarily.
“It was taken away after that stunt she pulled in Chem,” a voice that definitely wasn’t Harry’s said.
“Oh...hi, Anne,” Louis greeted, suddenly nervous. Anne had never called Louis before, not when Harry wasn’t already at Louis’ house for a sleepover or something.
“Hi, Louis,” Anne continued. “Based on your greeting, I’m afraid I already know the answer, but I have to ask.” Anne’s voice was obviously filled with worry despite the fact she was trying to veil it with calm. “Harry doesn’t happen to be at your house, does she?”
Or the one where Harry's hiding, Louis knows just where to find her, and more comes out of the evening than either expected.

Summary
He’s in head to toe in khaki, from the oversized shorts showing off his thin and tanned legs to the buttoned-up shirt which is hiding his true form underneath. If his muscular arms have any indication, Louis easily assumes he’s fit and toned. A dark brown leather belt ties around his slim waist. And to top it all off, the man proudly wore a safari hat on his dark wavy hair.
Unfortunately from where Louis is at, he can’t get a clear view of the man’s eyes. But he’s able to see a strong jawline and a simple dimple curving his cheek. God.
Being the impatient guy that he is, he not so kindly pushes both Niall and Liam forward to speed them up.
“Welcome, guys, gals, and non-binary pals! Hop on in and watch your head. If you happen to miss your step and hit your head, then lower your voice and watch your language. This is a family attraction and we’d like to keep it that way.”
Or, where Louis goes to Disneyland for his birthday and finds himself a cute Jungle Cruise skipper.

Summary
“Come back to me,” the man whispered in a surprisingly deep voice, his sad eyes flicking over Louis’ face. “Please.” he gave Louis’ hand one final squeeze, then turned around and silently left the room, leaving behind the faint scent of lilies.
All eyes were instantly on Louis — or rather, on the hidden object in his hand. Everyone subtly crept closer to steal a quick glance, while some started bombarding him with questions about the strange man.
Louis could barely register the questions over his own confusion. He brought his hand closer to his face and opened his fingers carefully, revealing a shiny gold pocket watch unlike anything he had ever seen before. When he pressed the small button on the side, the lid popped open and revealed a pearl-colored watch face with small encrusted diamonds in place of actual numbers.
“Who was he?” Louis faintly heard someone ask. All he could do, though, was stare at the gold watch in his palm.
After a moment, Louis shook his head and whispered, “I…I don’t know.”✧・ﾟ:
or it’s 1974 and louis falls in love with harry’s photograph.

Summary
There’s still a lot of things they don’t talk about, a lot of things they don’t bring home with them at the end of the day, and a lot of things that don’t even need to be said. The world is the world and it sucks sometimes, but it’s far away when Harry’s at home and Louis’s here with him and none of it needs to matter when it could just as easily be ignored. Harry tries to open up sometimes, tries to bring Louis into his world, but Louis’s got a world of his own to tend to, and it feels like more often than not they are on two separate planets and the universe just keeps expanding.
Or, a love three more years in the making, inspired by Harry’s sophomore album.

“You think Harry wants that?”
“Dunno. Maybe. Wanna make him happy.” Harry takes advantage of the red light he’s pulled up to turn and look properly at Louis’ face. He’s not even looking in Harry’s direction though, focused instead on something out of his side window, head drooped, mindlessly playing with the string of his hoodie between his fingers, lost in his own world somewhere. For some reason, it makes Harry’s spine straighten.
“Because he’s your best mate?” Harry questions carefully.
“He’s my boyfriend.”
He couldn’t have heard him right. “What?”
Louis releases a deep breath, still not turning around. Harry wonders who he thinks he’s talking to right now. “He’s so pretty. Want to kiss him all day long. And buy him a big house and give him presents and marry him.”

He’s tall—that’s the first thing that registers in Louis’ head when he spots him, standing with his hands behind his back. Tall, with curly hair, staring at them with the widest, greenest eyes Louis has ever seen. And wait, are those dimples? Louis didn’t know ghosts could have dimples.
Because he’s definitely a ghost, this boy. At first glance he looks normal, standing there pigeon-toed in a band shirt (The Ramones, Louis can’t help but note incredulously), dark jeans, and some boots, with rings on both hands, and tattoos littering his left arm—a sleeve made of anchors and names and roses and other completely unrelated things. But he’s also a little bit translucent; if Louis focuses, he can see the outline of the furniture, the design of the wallpaper through him.
“Hi,” the boy—the ghost—says to Louis. His face shifts; somehow his dimples dig deeper into his cheeks. His eyes flit from Louis, to Niall, to Liam, and finally to Zayn, and his face goes from shocked to elated. “I’m Harry.”
At in that exact moment, standing between three of his best friends and staring at a (quite handsome) ghost, Louis can only think one thing.

Prompt 5: Get "married" as kids on the playground (stay friends-friends to lovers pining etc on one side - stay "married" in their head on the other - decide to make it official, blowing one another's mind - extreme fluff)
Prompt 56: Louis proposes to Harry while he's sleeping because he thinks he's just so beautiful but Harry isn't actually asleep. Only problem is they're just best mates and not in a relationship
