Summary
Cale is still sleeping and Nate starts to think about free agency. He’s not supposed to be thinking about that - he’s supposed to be focused on relaxing on his day off. He can’t help but wonder who the Avs have signed. Will he like his new teammates? Will they be good enough to fill the spots that are quickly being emptied by people leaving?
He reaches to the nightstand and grabs his phone, careful not to disturb Cale. Nate scrolls quickly through his notifications, focusing in on any relating to the Avs.

Summary
Cale has been crushing on Nate since he joined the Avs, but Nate's been dating Sid for as long as anyone can remember. Because of that, Cale is dreading going to the Four Nations Tournament since he'll be forced to deal with Nate and Sid being together in person for a few weeks.
