Caitlyn Kiramman was the top ballerina in Piltover Ballet Company, aptly following in her lineage’s footsteps. Vi was a freshly released inmate who made a name for herself in Zaun's pitfighting ring.
An injury that threatens Caitlyn's promising career and an altercation that threatens Vi’s newfound freedom force them together at the Kiramman Dance Academy. Within the small studio's four walls, the pair clash like oil and water, heading towards a violent dispersion—or an even more violent emulsion.

In a breathless instant, the biting wind and what felt like a wall of muscles and buckles slammed into her. Both her feet off the ground and the air out her lungs were knocked out. Caitlyn crumpled beneath the weight. The sharp scent of leather and iron invaded her senses.

Oh, the ironies of fate—to stumble upon a place that stirred such conflicting emotions within her. How bitterly she resented this juxtaposition, cursed as she was with the strange veil shrouding her past, rendering every encounter, every discovery, a maddening puzzle to unravel, and the urges that never ceased to torture, rendering every waking and sleeping moment just as vexatious and cataleptic.

But the City of Dreams has its own slew of problems - political corruption and gang violence to name just a few. Vi's newest gig touches all of it and has her crossing paths with a mysterious netrunner, Caitlyn, who turns out to be much more than Vi could have ever prepared for.
Aka: CaitVi in the universe of Cyberpunk - inspired specifically by Cyberpunk 2077, but you don't need knowledge of the game to enjoy!

“I’m not paranoid! I’m... we’re from below. You know everyone is out to get us. Topsiders and the others from the undercity. They always have been. Every one of them!” Jinx shouts. She's trying to focus, but the whispers are getting louder and the shadows are creeping back in.
“I had to be stronger to survive. I had to be strong enough to do it on my own. You weren’t there and I... had to be better. Better for Silco. Good enough to help him. He was the only one there and he didn’t have anyone else. He needed me and I had to be good enough not to get in the way,” Jinx tries to scream, but her throat croaks out the words instead. Vi’s eyes soften.
“So let me be there for you now that he’s gone. Let me help you chase the monsters away just one more time,” Vi offers, holding her hand out. Jinx looks away. Chains are rattling around the room and she wants to scream at them to stop. She wants Vi to fight back.
She needs so badly for her to fight back.
