Patton has had a huge crush on Prince Roman since he became a servant at the palace. It didn't help that he was the main servant in assisting the Prince. And on top of that the whole staff knew as well and would always poke fun at him for his huge crush. The only problem is the Prince has had his heart set on someone else. The neighboring country of Vensuvia's eldest prince, Prince Derrick. Roman believed more than life itself that one day he would save Prince Derrick from danger and that they would wed.

Summary
Re-Education is a common practice here in Night Vale. Everyone has to go through it at least a dozen or so times before they die. In this case, Carlos is once again left to take care of what is left of Cecil when Cecil is called down to city hall. Usually Cecil is reduced to a shell of who he used to be. Sometimes he is like a small child, lost and unsure of what exactly is going on.
There's something different this time and Carlos is a few seconds too late before he realizes what Cecil is about to do.

Virgil is constantly plagued by the possibility of their parents finding out they’re non-binary. With their parents constantly fighting it’s up to their twin, Dee, to help them both survive. This isn’t the first time they have had to run away before they’re both hurt and had to seek refuge for Virgil under their boyfriends homes.
Hopefully in a few days it’ll be safe for the twins to return home.

Carlos has been re-woken from the dead and he doesn't know why. He tries to find his lover in hopes that he can explain what's going on. Though once he finds him he's shocked to see that he cannot hear or see him. In fact, what breaks his heart, is that Cecil doesn't remember him whatsoever.
