Summary
It started out small.
The members of the D.A that were still in Hogwarts would approach Harry in the hallways, asking him to remind them how a certain hex worked or how to say the incantation. They would ask him to read their essays for their DADA classes and tell them whether they were correct or not. They would ask for a few minutes with him so they could maybe practice together until their hexes and jinxes were done in a way that would satisfy Snape.
Harry didn’t think too much of it. He was busy with his lessons with Dumbledore and his new obsession with Malfoy to care about the fact that certain students still came to him for assistance when it came to DADA rather than going to their professor. And really, who would rather go to Snape when they could approach anyone but the Head of Slytherin? Harry figured only Slytherins and desperate students went to the actual DADA professor.

Summary
TW // suicide, self harm
Harry falls into depression after seeing Cedric die in front of him, unable to do anything, and being used in a dark ritual to bring Voldemort back to life and nobody seems to realize. It's the summer after fourth year and Harry gets a letter from the Ministry of Magic expelling him for using Magic outside of Hogwarts while underage. But it wasn't a Patronus.
This is the aftermath of those finding out about what Harry has done.
