He nicked the paper from a bin when he was on his way out to the station from his latest run in Cokeworth. The pen ink is blue as he writes notes on it, and Percival doesn’t like the blue ink very much, but all he has is the one blue biro currently. So even if the blue ink has him pursin ghis lips and thinking about girls who step into the ocean only to fall through they sky instead of sink (Falling… Falling… Splat. Splat.)… Even if Percival thinks that blue is for the thin divide between the ocean and the sky and all the whispers and deals made there, he has to make do with what he has. He’ll just have to counteract the catastrophe spelled out and told by the shimmering blue lines in a language different form his own later.
Maybe he’ll have to burn the paper to make it sparkle in red-orange once he’s done with it.
Though red isn’t a good colour today, either. Neither is orange.
Percival is the kid of Lily and Snape, and Percy Weasley is someone who died young and away from home with a family who still believes him to be alive.
