Summary
Draco sleeps alone in the dormitory as the only Slytherin of his year to return. He's learned that he was wrong. How could he not when he's been told repeatedly so from everyone he's come in contact with since the the war ended? However, as he returns for his eighth year at Hogwarts he still doesn't understand what it means to be in the right. He needs to get through the year and he wants to have friends again. He never expected Luna Lovegood to persistently hang out with him, nor did he ever imagine he'd have to try to tutor Harry Potter in potions. What he did see coming was the hate, fear, and vitriol his return would instill in his fellow students. He didn't think anyone had known how far they would take it.

Draco has to deal with robes too short, Potter's dog being too happy, and consistent attempts on his life all while trying to learn how he's supposed to fit into a world where everyone is suddenly better than him. A world in which Luna Lovegood is the only person who doesn't seem bothered by his presence. With her help he does everything he can to not be eaten alive by guilt or fade away into a depressive, lonely isolation.

Charlie Weasley is about to enter his fifth year and he is Hogwart's best student and Quidditch player. He is the youngest wizard ever being offered a contract in a national Quidditch team. When his parents say no because he is way too young and way too arrogant, he kind of loses it.
After going through some weird rite of passage based on ancient magic with his 2 best friends, his nights start to be filled with the strangest dreams, where a Lady in White filled with despair is trapped in the midst of shadows and whispering one word, repeatedly: Slytherin.
As the year begins at Hogwarts, Dumbledore is missing. Everyone is talking about the most recent news: Golden-Beak Ricky, an old auror recently fired, has been found dead in the mansion of an ex Death Eater that used to be as close as being an intimate to Voldemort as it was ever possible.
When Charlie Weasley hears his name, the tragic whispers of the Lady in White echo it in his mind: Earnest. Earnest Slytherin.
