Summary
Set somewhat post Episode 5, but prior to Episode 8. An AU with the 'Reader' entering the Circus and altering the perceptions of the adventures and functioning as a sounding board for Caine...who is rather good at not listening. Chapter 1 introduces the Reader to the Circus, and subsequent chapters will gently delve into acclimating to it. This tale will eventually have explicit content, the tags will be updated accordingly with subsequent chapters, but ultimately this is a slow burn story. Don't expect things to get intense quickly.
Episode spoiler information is marked in the story tags, please be mindful of that.
