Summary
“Buck, listen to me,” Eddie says, grabbing Buck’s wrist and lifting it off of his thigh. “I think that I’m . . . Bad at being a dispatcher?” He phrases it like a question, because – well, because he knows it, but he’s not sure if anyone else has clocked that fact yet.
And Buck, much to Eddie’s confusion, blinks at him for approximately four seconds before breaking out into fits of loud, deep laughter. “I’ve been keeping a list,” Buck says. “Let’s start from the beginning.”

Summary
He’s seen Buck with kids, of course. Buck is, truly, just the best with kids, and this isn’t news to Eddie.
What is news to Eddie, though, is how Buck looks with a whole gaggle of small children fawning at his feet. They don’t even come up to his knees, because Buck’s legs are, unfortunately, approximately five miles long. Half of them are running around him in circles, a few of them are sitting in the grass picking dandelions, and Jee and one other toddler have secured themselves to Buck’s legs like two koalas. Buck is grinning down at them and laughing while still keeping an eye on those running around, and Eddie very suddenly feels like he needs to get down on one knee and propose.

Summary
Eddie wants his best friend's hands on his waist all the damn time and he's losing sleep over it.
But- nothing to worry about, right? It'll pass.
Or maybe not and they will have to do something drastic about it.Or-
Eddie's got a little thing going on and both he and Buck seem to be a little too obsessed with it for the two normal, platonic best friends they are.Bookmarked by apple_crumble_7

Summary
Alexander takes the letter from my hands, and I know he sees the name on the envelope because he sets it on the table without opening it, quickly, like the words would burn him if he read them.
“Oliver,” Alexander says carefully, his voice a mixture of fear, wonderment, and grief. “Are you sure you want me to –?”
“I need to know if you can see what I see,” I tell him. “You’re the only one who could be objective about it. Meredith’s too prejudiced against him. Pip would just pity me. I can’t talk to Wren. You’re the only one who can be objective. You’ll tell me if it’s nothing. You always have.”

Summary
“I can’t just—oh, holy shit,” Buck says through a laugh.
“What?” Eddie asks, contorting himself to try and follow Buck’s line of sight. “What is it?”
Buck physically manhandles him so that he’s looking in the right direction and discreetly points towards the aisle.
“Are those little helicopters hanging off the pews,” Buck asks in horror.
Eddie is equally horrified, for the record.
“We’d never have something that trashy at our wedding,” he says without thinking.
Buck freezes next to him. “At our wedding?”

(Eddie accidentally makes a comment about his and Buck’s future wedding. Buck doesn’t even know Eddie’s gay.)
