Summary
Just before his 18th birthday Jon is told that he is not actually a Snow after all, but is instead a Targaryen and that he is to be wed to none other than Joffrey Baratheon. This will bring the two families together and end the consternation over the throne once and for all. Unsurprisingly this sounds like a terrible idea to Jon, however no one his listening to him so he decides to run away. Will swallowed down the spike of fear at his words. “No. I don’t find you all that interesting.”
Hannibal’s answering smile was all teeth. “You will.”

Summary
The Winter Soldier escaped from Hydra in the early eighties, and since then he's helped SHIELD to get rid of their parasite, taken over the Russian and Irish mobs in Brooklyn, used his influence to make the borough safer, and reclaimed the name James (albeit not Barnes, and definitely not Bucky). By 2012 he was leading a very comfortable and content life, if not exactly happy one.
Everything changed when Captain America was found in ice, and suddenly there was a possibility for James to find happiness again. For once, the biggest obstacle on his path was himself.

“Half a millennium of existence,” Bucky murmurs, half to himself even as his gaze never strays from the wolf before him, “and this is what fate has in store for me.”
Steve Rogers is kinder on the eyes than his predecessor, but all Bucky can look at is the gleaming star on his chest. It’s white, spread over nearly all of his right pectoral, the simple design standing raised on sun-kissed skin. Steve looks, acts, and smells like sun and forests, the polar opposite of Bucky.
His star is red and on his left side, a mirror to Steve’s. There’s no denying it, their bond, but Bucky would gladly give a limb for that luxury. He's the master of his fate, not a few square centimeters of raised flesh.
"I’m not exactly jumping for joy either,” Steve speaks, finally. “I’m more used to killing your kind than fucking them.”
“Wolf,” Bucky says quietly, “you’re not fucking anyone here.”

Bucky licks his lips and nods. Fury lets out a deep breath and leans back in his chair in a movement that’s terrifyingly controlled but spills danger out the edges.
“Twenty years,” Fury says slowly, taking special care to imbue each word with his personal brand of bone-chilling judgement. It used to make Bucky quiver in his boots back when he was a baby S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. “In that time, I have asked, threatened, coaxed, and damn near begged this man to work for us, or at least with us, and what finally gets it done is your dick?”
“Ass.”
“Excuse me?”
“Listen, I’m not saying any part of my anatomy is what persuaded Commander Rogers to agree to this, but hypothetically, if that’s what did it, let’s just say he would have found my ass far more persuasive than my dick.” Bucky pauses, secretly relishing the sour-lemon look on Fury’s face. “It still hurts, in case you’re wondering.”

Steve tries to seduce Bucky over to the dark side. But the Avengers are more grey than dark, and it’s still a paler shade of grey than what S.H.I.E.L.D’s got going nine times out of ten. Bucky really should be more concerned about the seduction part.Series
