Summary
Sakura always holds herself like something’s restraining her. Her limbs seem stiff, heavy, and cautious, like a wild animal trapped somewhere new, constantly on the watch for danger. It’s part of the reason Natsuki isn’t sure if she can trust her, yet. Sakura is cold, but in the way the eye of a storm is, like that distance hides something violent and reckless. Natsuki can’t ever tell what she’s thinking, or why she’s thinking it. Natsuki can’t really tell what will make Sakura decide something’s a threat, or what she’ll do when she does.
But right now, Sakura’s rigidness is new and awkward, like she’s straightening herself out in response to Natsuki’s question. Which is weird, right? Because Natsuki didn’t ask anything that would make her feel weird or anything!

Summary
Fear of the future and the past mingle together as the trees in the courtyard bow to the wind. Usagi rests her face against her fist as she daydreams, and she leans into it until her cheeks are numb and her eyelids flicker lazily, torn between slow blinks to keep her awake and strong blinks to keep her from crying. Not that she's sad. Or, at least, she doesn't think she's sad. She can't tell; not completely.

Summary
Whether he openly admits it or not, Mitsukura Ibara has watched a lot of anime. So, as he prods and pokes at the face that he now shares with the fictional character Saegusa Ibara, he thinks: Doesn’t this happen a lot? Isn’t this really trendy at the moment? Hasn’t he seen countless web series with this exact premise? A protagonist whisked from the real world and put in the body of the cold-hearted, cruel villain, fated to change their evil ways, and lead them to a happy ending. That kind of story, that kind of wish fulfilment fantasy for the rejects and losers who have always seen themselves in the sadistic villainess, the scheming second son, the popular girl only loved for her looks… That kind of story, which asks, “Isn’t it unfair that, no matter what choices you make, this character can never escape their death flags?” was everywhere a year or so ago.
And now, it's the kind of story that he is in.
mitsukura ibara has decided it's his destiny to save the fictional idol unit "eden". hopefully he can avoid starting to think of them as real along the way.
