“That's your first mistake. You can't rely on your memory. You'll fail.”
“Feels like you're tryna pick a fight with me,” Naruto fumes.
“I'm repeating what you've told me. You're absent-minded and forgetful. Is that really what you want to bank on for the exam?” Sasuke asks. Naruto fidgets in his seat, but offers no response.
“Memory is inconsistent. You can never be sure of what you thought you read in a textbook somewhere. Even if you do remember correctly, you forget because of stress, because you're distracted, because you slept poorly the night before.” Sasuke points to his temple.
“It's okay to not know something. It's not okay to have no plan to figure it out. Mathematics is about reasoning, Naruto. Not memorizing.”

“Min Yoongi,” Hoseok says before he can think. It’s exactly him. He blinks to make sure he hasn’t dreamt the entire encounter. The same face, the same lithe, short stature. A curve in his back — he always hunched. Yoongi holds his hands up in the air, shaking them to show that he’s empty-handed, and thus, not a threat. It does nothing to thaw the icy fear in his veins.
“You died,” he mutters. His speech sounds like a telegraph sounder, short and curt.
“Something like that.”
“No, you did. You died in your last year of high school. We held a vigil. We all burned candles. It was an event.” Hoseok looks to the left, to the right, then faces front again, pointing a finger squarely at Yoongi’s chest. “You died.”
“Right.”
“But now, you’re alive.” Yoongi scratches the back of his neck, looking sheepish.
“Something like that,” he repeats.

Yoongi dies, comes back to semi-life, and now needs Hoseok's help to die again -- the right way. It's a bit of a challenge to process.

Summary
Only a hint of two front teeth peek out from behind his lips. His wavy, black hair flops limply across his forehead, soft and unstyled. He looks as if he’s just rolled out of bed. He whispers a quiet “okay” to himself. Then, he speaks.
“Hello, Seoul Metropolitan Area. My name is Jeon Jungkook. I’m 20 years old, and I’m broadcasting this in the hopes that someone out there might see this and care. As you probably already know, the world’s ending pretty soon, and I’m looking for somebody to spend the rest of it with me.” Jungkook holds the sign up closer to the camera, shy smile growing infinitesimally brighter.
Alternatively, the world is ending in 72 hours. Jimin and Jungkook manage to make it last an eternity.

Summary
It has been about a week since Cal had destroyed the holocron containing the names of force-sensitive children. So far he didn’t have any regrets about his decision. He occasionally had nightmares of his vision that he’d had in the Vault on Bogano. He’d wake up disoriented, his body drenched with sweat, and the wound from Darth Vader throbbing angrily. Though the bacta patches had done a decent job healing the damage, there was still a long road to recovery both physically and emotionally.
Kidnapping, experimentation, betrayal, and hurt/comfort. ;)

Summary
After a harrowing imprisonment at the Fortress Inquisitorious, Cal is taken on a troubling quest.
Worse still, Cal finds that the Empire isn't as black and white as the Jedi's philosophy would like him to believe..***.***.***.***.
This is a what-if series focusing on what would happen to Cal following the end of Jedi: Fallen Order, if Cal lost to the Second Sister during their battle in the Fortress Inquisitorious.
The early stories in the series will have an overarching story about Cal's descent to the Dark Side. The current plan is for each fic to be a ~20K word novella with an overarching story-line.
I'm basically going for a comic book / serial kind of feel.Series

It was late and his eyes were straining over accents and unfamiliar words when there was a knock at the door. He got up, careful not to knock his head on the low slanted ceiling of his dormer room, and opened the door to Jimin. Jimin was soft and sweet in his pyjamas, his hair messy, cheeks pink with the cold. He was holding two cups of tea, a book tucked under his arm.
“Hyung,” Jeongguk said, a little surprised. Jimin smiled gently and offered him a cup of tea. It looked perfectly brewed with just the right amount of milk. Whatever queer tension had been resting on Jimin earlier that day seemed to have eased and he looked light with it, as Jeongguk stood aside to let him into the small room.
At a remote boarding school, winter has settled, and it's brought death with it.
