“Nope.” Taehyun swats away Beomgyu’s hand and sits up, “Trust me I have a solid idea. If I’m not wrong, this is a win-win situation for both parties. Yeonjun gets me to go on a date with someone regardless of who it is, and you and me, we get away with free food.”
“Tae.” There’s a much greater gravity in Beomgyu’s voice this time, “You’re not gay.”
“Oh.” Taehyun seems to realize it now, “I’m not gay.”

Yeonjun’s voice sounds more pissed than before. “Is it about Soobin again?” He asks, prompted by the lack of a reply as well as the miserable look on the younger’s face - the one he puts up everytime he indugles in self pity.
He earns a sad nod from Taehyun in response. Of course. It had to be about him. All the fucking time.
Or: Yeonjun was an angel. Taehyun wasn't . And there were rules that weren't meant to be broken.

But Soobin is either a) not a human or b) a different breed because Yeonjun’s sure that no other words have ever managed to make him feel like he got punched in the guts and tightly pulled into a hug at the same time.
