Summary
One of the things Buck missed about road trips was the ability to just... be free. Out on the road with just the Jeep for company and no schedule to keep, he could pull over wherever he wanted, explore, enjoy nature.
He'd found this lookout quite by accident, taking a wrong turn trying to find the cabin he was supposed to stay at for the next few nights. It was barely anything, an overgrown single lane with a faded sign off a back road creatively named Back Road Two. But the view was gorgeous, a near-panoramic look at the nearby hills and valleys, covered in trees. The space at the end of the lane was just big enough for Buck to get the Jeep in and turned around, so he could park, lay out a blanket in the back, and sit there with the hatch open, basking in the sunset.
He just wasn't very good at sitting still, was the thing.
