An academy AU + Tarsus aftermath fic in which James T. Kirk ends up accidentally parentally bonded to an orphaned Vulcan child. When the father/daughter duo enroll in Star Fleet, hijinks ensue (mostly at the expense of Spock’s previously immaculate but quickly deteriorating self-control).

Summary
Eggsy makes him nervous. There’s a jittery swarm of, well, butterflies in his stomach any time Eggsy visits his little room, and that swarm only gets more agitated when Eggsy looks at him. He hears a high-pitched buzzing sound when Eggsy speaks to him, and he feels self-conscious about the patch he wears over his eye to disguise his disfigurement. He wants to turn away, hide it from Eggsy’s view, though he cannot for the life of him understand why he would ever do that. He doesn’t try to hide it away from anybody else. He’s certainly not ashamed of it or particularly concerned about what people think of him. He cannot understand why he feels so nervous when Eggsy has been nothing but kind, even gentle, toward him.

Summary
This is a new one for me, folks. My first AU! (And yes, I'm aware I haven't finished Hue and Cry yet. I'm sorry. I promise I'm working on it.) I've had this idea circling around my brain for quite some time now and it's suddenly started yelling to be let out, so here we are.
Geralt, a ship's captain who commands a crew of monster-hunting sailors, rescues Jaskier from one of his rivals. Jaskier's only experience with Geralt's kind has left him with some pretty deep trauma, which he'll need to try to overcome--with Geralt's help, of course. Can they outwit and outmanuever the danger dogging their every move? And can Jaskier recover the man he used to be before his harrowing experience and learn to trust again?
