Summary
Eli has always had a contentious relationship with his family due to the fact that he was born out of an affair involving his mother and a former co-worker. The most tumultuous of all being with his older brother, Daniel, who bullied Eli throughout their early and mid-childhoods. Although their relationship has improved the past couple of years, Eli still never felt completely welcome. Daniel, while affirmative and charming to the outside world, possesses a dark side that was previously contained, but is in the danger of spilling out and affecting his loved ones.
