-The words of a favored of MielikkiThe main story revolves around Astarion’s relationship with Tavennia, a kind-hearted Cleric of Mielikki. Tav is on the run from an abusive marriage and quickly learns that she and Astarion have far more in common than she would ever have imagined.
This work is canon adjacent and includes some canon dialogue and spoilers, but it is not always fully canon compliant. It it intended to be a "what if". Not something that did happen, but something that could have happened in between the lines. In canon, Astarion prayed to the gods for help and was never answered. But what if one goddess heard him and it just took him a while to figure that out?
This is a story about love’s ability to mend even the most tortured of hearts.

Kazuha’s smile dropped, and rather than meeting the curious captain’s gaze, his eyes dropped back to the ocean. Beidou’s brow furrowed in confusion.
“Uh, Teyvat to Kazuha - that wasn’t a rhetorical question. When did you tell them?”
The only answer the captain received was silence. Realization seemed to dawn on her, and her playful attitude dropped in an instant.
