As he stood on Charlie’s porch, he wiped his sweating palms on his jeans, his mind a whirlwind of thoughts. He could hear footsteps approaching from the other side of the door. The creak of the door opening made his breath hitch. There stood Charlie, his expression a mix of puzzlement and hope.
"Nick? Is everything okay?” Charlie's voice was a comforting anchor in the storm of Nick's emotions.
Nick took a deep breath, searching for the right words. “Yeah, I just... I needed to see you.”

Okay, maybe it could've been his nervousness, he always got nervous in overly crowded places, but as Wills hand started stroking Mikes thigh gently, up and down, getting dangerously close to Mikes crotch, Mike knew Will wasn't nervous.

Will huffed, cheeks burning. Will’s eyes darted involuntarily to the centre of the room. Max and El were squished together on an armchair. Mike was sprawled on the carpet with Dustin and Lucas, waving his arms around dramatically as he argued about which Star Wars film was objectively the best. His hair was a mess. His cheeks were flushed. He was smiling.
And Will felt that stupid expanding warmth in his chest that he couldn’t get rid of no matter how hard he tried.

Post-Vecna, Will and Robin continue to bond. Robin knows Will likes Mike. Mike thinks Will likes Robin.
One jealousy spiral, several misunderstandings, and a lot of pining later… they finally kiss.
