Summary
It's been seven years since former best friends Jamie and Dani graduated high school. Seven years since their friendship fell apart as they parted ways to very different futures. Seven years they've seen each other only when Dani's back in their hometown for Christmas. Only this year, Dani’s recovering from the loss of Eddie and coming to terms with what her life might have been, had she made different choices, and Jamie is faced with some bittersweet choices of her own.

I got fucked up by listening to ‘tis the goddamn season’ too many times and couldn’t get this story out of my head.

I didn't think I could/would ever write angsty smut, but apparently I could and indeed, would.
I was also surprised to learn that this one wanted to be written from Jamie's perspective. So much discovery here, ha!
This was supposed to be a one-shot but I seem incapable of those, and the words just keep coming. Likely just two chapters, with plenty of smutty goodness in the second. [ETA: At least three chapters, dammit.]
