“You should probably be more careful about jumping into random vehicles, then,” Suguru warns, irritated when the freeloader in his backseat only smiles more sharply. What a waste of a night—no sleep and barely any money to show for it. “You lost me a fare and wasted almost twenty minutes’ worth of gas.”
His unwanted passenger presses a hand over his heart.
“Genuinely, I feel terrible about that.” Then he folds his arms into the space between the front seats and rests his chin atop them. The bridge of his glasses slips halfway down his nose, partially revealing those arrestingly blue eyes again. “Let me make it up to you.”
Suguru spends his nights driving to make a little extra money; the guy he picks up around two a.m. isn’t who or what he expected, and now Suguru has his full and undivided attention.

9 years later after their incident with Toji, Satoru Gojo and Geto Suguru work together as teachers. They have been together for those same 9 years. Geto finally decided to make it official.
"Satoru, will you marry me? Will you do me the honor of cursing me for the rest of my life?"
Geto kneels there on one knee, a desperate yet loving look in his eyes. He's been waiting to say those words for almost a decade.
Gojo can feel himself start shaking. Tears start to prick at his eyes just like the first time they had kissed. He's waited for this moment for so long.
"Oh my god, Suguru... with everything in my heart and soul, it would be such an honor to marry you. Yes Suguru. A thousand times. Ye-"
Gojo looks down at his palms and his torso. Blood. He doesn't want to look in front of him. His six-eyes already tell him enough.
"S-Suguru...?"
