Summary
"Actually," Zachary interjected, "His two current sons are Richard and Timothy. Prince Jason was killed four years ago when his ship was attacked. A year later King Bruce adopted Prince Timothy."
Jason glared at him. He bit back a wave of rising resentment, struggling not to let it show. There was no reason for Peter, Metropolian orphan, to care about the Gotham royal family.
Four years ago Prince Jason's ship was attacked by the Joker and the prince assumed dead. Now, caught in a web of lies and treason, Jason must return to a throne he had left behind.

Summary
“Socialisation with kids her age would be good,” Midnighter agrees, “but there’s the small problem that she doesn’t exist in the eyes of the law. And if she did, then she’d have to be appointed legal guardians.”
“Which would be us,” Andrew asserts.
“Obviously,” Midnighter hedges, “But if we wanted joint custody…”
Andrew laughs as he realises what M has been so hesitant to say. “We’d have to get married. I don’t see how that’s a downside.”

Summary
Apollo settled into defence, willing to watch the graceful movement of Midnighter as he whirls around him. And in a moment of distraction, too focused on the bunching of muscles visible even under the black coat, Midnighter lands the first fit.
Apollo swore that the area he touched, his upper arm, tingled. He knew by now of the soulmarks, his body littered with pale, multicoloured fingerprints left by the scientists that worked with him.

Summary
Stellanova selects a light blue paper with cartoonish purple flowers. She sits down a little ways from him, folding the paper for the first few steps confidently. Tiger keeps his distance, from her and the others, to ensure that he is seen as a casual observer rather than an enforcer. It is supposed to be a fun, relaxing task after all.
He scans the room, taking in the tables of children entirely focused on the task in front of them. Their small hands, folding and unfolding when they've made a mistake, twisting the paper around to figure out what to do next. There is something both heart-warming and unsettling about the sight at once, the expected youthful joy contrasting with the reality of how silent and emotionless they are whilst doing it. Tiger hopes that at some level they are able to enjoy themselves, if not now, then later looking back on this moment.
Or Tiger babysits a bunch of traumatised children. Ties in to the first instalment of the Celestial Navigation series.
