Summary
She has food and a weapon, and if she’s smart about it and keeps her head down that might just be enough to get her to a port. She can catch a ship back to the Free Marches, and then—
And then go back to the Carta and the small, brutal life that means nothing. And the sky will still be torn apart, and she’ll be no one but someone who could’ve helped and didn’t.
When she wakes up in Haven, Amber Cadash thinks it's an easy choice between returning to the life she knows, or taking a gamble on something she doesn't understand and hoping she isn't executed for it. A surprise encounter reminds her nothing is ever quite so simple.

Summary
“You owe me,” Caleb says, when Essek opens the door.
It has been ten days since he teleported Caleb out of a battle that could not be won, ten days since Caleb wrenched out of his grasp and collapsed to the ground, ten days since Caleb drew sigils in the air with bloodstained fingers and disappeared.
Caleb loses everything, and is bound and determined to undo it, no matter what the cost may be. Essek helps.

Summary
It starts like this: Essek, in a fit of lonely idiocy, agrees to partake in a honeypot scheme with the Mighty Nein. It goes about as smoothly as he should have expected.
It evolves to this: by decree of Deirta Thelyss, Verin is tasked with protecting his brother and his brother’s friends(??) as they parlay with the Children of Malice over the diplomatic incident they caused. Verin remembers his brother being much more of an aloof douche and much less of a floating disaster.
Or: In a reality where the Mighty Nein do a stop in Xhorhas prior to meeting up with DeRogna, Essek agrees to help with one side quest and ends up with a lover, a brother, and a fight with a god.
