Episode 3.10 goes a little differently.
Father Beocca's house is on fire. When Sihtric realizes that Thyra might still be inside, he makes a rash decision. Of course, Finan has something to say about it.

"Sihtric!"
Finan must have yelled his name like that a thousand times over the years, and every time, Sihtric's heart skips a beat. Finan's voice is laced with a mix of excitement and worry and something much, much darker. And as usual, it propels Sihtric forward, gives him the strength, the fearlessness he didn't have before.
Which clearly isn't what Finan intended.
