“I mean, get your ass back down there and sleep, or you’ll never step foot out here till your brain is butter, or they dump your ashes in the ocean,” Mansk hisses. His ears flatten involuntarily. The chivalry is gone from his tone, and the warning finally clicks in Spider’s mind. He notices the rifle cradled patiently in Mansk’s arms for the first time.
He’s being offered a second chance.
“Why would I trust you?” Spider counters. Mansk shrugs.
“You shouldn’t. You start trusting people out here, people you think you know, then it all goes to shit.” There’s something else behind his words that Spider doesn’t quite understand.
Spider has to fight to keep his head above water for fear of losing himself. Hundreds of miles away, Lo'ak wrestles with the guilt of being forced to run.

Summary
The Na’vi is tall. As Jake’s eyes flit from the bow slung over her shoulders to the knife as long as his arm that she clutches in her four-fingered hand, he understands instantly at that moment that it was not out of the kindness of her heart that she intervened.
‘Thank you’ sits in his mouth, but he dares not break the heavy silence between them, and all confidence that he had dissipates the second she stands to her full height and towers over him.
Stranded, injured and alone in the jungles of Pandora, Jake is left behind. Neytiri won't make that same mistake.

Summary
Jango Fett has always pictured his cause of death to be amid the heat of battle, an honourable last stand fitting of a true Mandalorian.
Instead, he finds himself falling, falling, falling— surrounded by shards of glass and the mutilated bodies of his vod’e… his brothers. It’s almost pathetic, considering the circumstances at hand.
It could be worse, he thinks, as he plummets to the depths of Coruscant’s underworld. His head aches. The bacta patch plastered to his skull is a gutting reminder of his failure, but he would rather be damned than succumb to the idea that his enemy has already won. He still clings to a fraying thread of hope that his transmission is received before he meets his end, and with each second that passes, his fate draws nearer.
Coruscant is burning.

Altruism: Unselfish concern for the welfare of others.
He knows how much his father has sacrificed for his people— and despite the pacifist movements in Sundari waning on his patience led by those who constantly bid him to lay down arms and seek “peaceful” resolution even though they are being actively attacked, he’s remained headstrong and set on his goal; to unite Mandalore, all Mandalorians.

She pressed her nose forward, against the woven strands of her hammock, and quietly called, “JakeSully.”
No answer.
She whispered his name a second time, reaching out towards him.
When her fingers grazed the skin of his arm, he did not shift or speak. Jake continued to breathe slowly and softly. It was then that Neytiri realized—he would not wake.
It was as though something cold had been slipped into Neytiri’s throat and wriggled about in her chest. Trying to wake him had been an impulse. There was no reason for it. She simply wanted to speak with him.

In a universe where Mandalore did not become pacifist, where Jango Fett took up the darksaber and the title of Mand'alor and reunited the clans after a last, devastating civil war, there are three Fett children: Cody, Rex, and Boba, with Cody taking up the title as Duke as the eldest. In this same universe, Obi-Wan Kenobi is more involved with his homeworld's politics and government, while still holding a position as a Jedi Knight. Their worlds could not be more different.
When Stewjon reaches out to Mandalore for protection from pirates and other thieves, Mandalore agrees, with one condition: clan ties must be made. A member of Stewjon's government must marry Mandalore's Duke.
They choose Obi-Wan Kenobi.
