Summary
Yamaguchi stares in muted horror as midnight blue begins to blot out Tsukishima’s honeyed irises in slow blooms of colour. Something pricks his wrist, and he looks down to watch Tsukishima's nails fade into dark blue and elongate into little claws. A long forgotten grandmother's tale rings in his head, and he gasps loudly at the terrifying epiphany.
Tsukishima growls softly, sadly, trembling lips moving around growing fangs and blood to form a single word:
“Run”.
Demons, considered part of ancient folklore after their supposed disappearance over a century ago, still exist.
