Summary
Stray Kids is a pack of eight–seven big hybrids and their only human, Felix. At least, that’s what they think–in reality, Felix is also a hybrid but has been hiding his hybrid status from his pack, because his hybrid form never grew into an adult along with him. Everyone knows that when a hybrid’s shifted form doesn’t mature with them, it means the shifter went through something traumatic at a young age, and Felix doesn’t want everyone to know.
So he pastes on a smile, pretending to be human and be fine with his pack as it is, all the while suppressing and pushing down his hybrid instincts. When they finally overtake him and he shifts against his control, the pack must adjust and decide how to move forwards with their new reality.

"A griffin for my strongest soldier." The Dragon King pulls Felix's unblemished face forward by the jaw, meaty fingers pushing into his cheeks with little remorse, sure to leave marks. "He may look thin but his swordsmanship is like no other."
The Stray Leader's expression is unreadable from across the low table. He appears to be mulling over the idea in his head, eyes continuously flicking between the King's fingers and his own hands resting in his lap. Felix waits, pliant under the Warlord's grip.
"Fine." As if resigning himself to his fate, Christopher nods slowly, "I'll agree to those terms."
The King looks satisfied, irritatingly so. He casts Felix's face out of his grip without another thought, beckoning the Cle member forward with his other hand. "It's settled then. May this exchange be bound in blood."
Yellow Wood once held the mysterious power to shield the Stray Lands from evil, but now with its power dwindled to practically nothing, the only way for them to protect their livelihood is to make a deal with that same evil, the Dragon Tribes. Felix, the Tribe's strongest soldier, is given in exchange for a griffin, a creature sacred to the Stray Lands.
