Summary
Some people would have thought their relationship was weird. Six teens, boundaries lowered, bonded over trauma that should never have happened, dating in a weird haphazard way. Trying to get back on their feet.
The best they could do was so survive. And if that meant Max dating Lucas and El and Mike and Dustin, or if it meant Will dating Mike and Lucas and loving El and Max and Dustin like family, then so be it.
None of them knew what 'polyamorous' meant, but that was okay. They didn't need to label whatever it was that they had.
They all loved each other, and that was all that mattered.

Summary
People look at Max and think: She is an Alpha, because of her ferocity and her tendency towards anger and her defensive nature over her friends and really, Max is okay with it. Prefers it, actually, because being an Alpha means not being an Omega, weak and vulnerable and antithesis to her entire being.
Of course, it turns out it’s not so far fetched for her to be an Omega, which she found out still in California when she presented and went through her first heat, her mom there pressing cool hands against her hot forehead and bringing her soup and granola bars and water.
Friends don’t lie, but for now Max won’t disclose the full truth. That’s she an Omega, not an Alpha.
or Max lies about her designation to the Party. That lie is bound to unravel sooner rather than later.

“Wheeler.”
There was blood everywhere, and Mike hyper-focused on the streaky red and orange patterns their feet were making in the linoleum of the hallway. He briefly wondered if—
“MIKE!”
He flinched then, hard, and found himself thrown back into the present with violent force, “What, Hopper?!” Mike snapped as the chip shelf to his right came back into focus.“You still with us, kid?”

Summary
Max was so sure of her death she knew she had to do something before it was too late. She was never good at expressing herself verbally, opening up that is...so these letters would have to do the trick. There was just too much she needed to say to her friends that she would never be able to say to their faces without falling apart completely. So these would have to do.
