Summary
The notion is like an annoyingly unpredictable rebound, ricocheting around Kevin's brainspace too quickly for him to actually catch. He can't help but think of the uncountable times he's shared the locker room with his teammates, about the way Neil steadfastedly refused to change in the same room as anyone else at first but slowly became more and more trusting over time. He thinks about the glimpses of tanned flesh he's caught, toned in a way Kevin knows is from intense workouts and staggering amounts of cardio, and he wonders if Neil runs warm. If his hands would scorch a path across Kevin's body, if the trails they leave would cool in the wake of Andrew's stare.
Or: Kevin Day freaks out about his crush on Neil, then learns he doesn't have anything to worry about.

“Who the fuck is Kevin dating?” Nicky asks, as he arrives at the table where most of the team, bar for Neil, Kevin and Andrew, are sitting. Nicky doesn’t sit down, deciding instead to balance a bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice wildly on a tray. By now Dan would presume that half of the contents must have spilled on it, the way Nicky moves, but the tray is still dry and clean.
“I thought he was still dating Thea,” Matt offers and Dan pets his arm as soon as Nicky and Allison give him the ‘I can’t believe you’ stare.

Kevin cranes his neck, looking around to see if Neil is anywhere in the near vicinity. He’s at the counter, serving a customer. He happens to glance up when Kevin twists to look, offering a quick flash of a smile. Kevin panics and immediately ducks down into his seat, hiding.
“A crush. I have a stupid crush.”
“On Neil?”
“Shhhhh. Yes. Obviously.”
“Okay, so you’ve got a crush. Not the end of the world. Bad taste, sure-”
“Aaron!”
“No, he’s right. Awful taste. Terrible taste. Tragic taste. Just the worst.”
“See?”
“Okay. So you have some feelings for…” Katelyn inclines her head in the direction of the counter. “Is that really so terrible?”

Summary
“You’re pretty.” Aaron says, brushing slow fingers over his cheekbone before sliding up Kevin’s temple, tangling fingers in dark hair as he strokes over Kevin’s head. “I’ll get you ice for your cheek later, I promise.”
Kevin seems like he couldn’t care less about injury care currently. His eyes are on the rubber butt of the racquet, reminiscent as it wavers close to his face, and a spike of want sticks in the base of Aaron’s spine.
Neither of them break eye contact as Aaron releases him and drags a thumb under Kevin’s nose, collecting red, before swiping down and across Kevin’s lips. He lets him. Kevin always lets him.

“Serious,” the man replied. “Like the star,” he clarified, and Remus mentally scratched out 'Serious' and rewrote 'Sirius' in his head.
“The… star?” Marlene asked, her pen hovering over the cup as she hesitated.
“S-I-R-I-U-S,” Remus said. He stocked croissants into the display case, not looking up. “The Dog Star,” he added, “brightest star in the sky, actually. Visible from both hemispheres.” When he looked over, the man– Sirius– seemed surprised, his eyebrows raised as Remus spoke, and when Remus finished, he blinked a few times before smiling lopsidedly.
“Er– yeah,” he breathed a laugh. “That.” There was a baby on his hip. Somehow, it had taken Remus a second glance to notice that.
