He's become a bloodhound when it comes to sniffing out lies.
He cocks his head to the side. “Now that's just not true. C’mon.” He purrs. “Let's have an honest exchange here…Hello, my name is Cooper. What's yours?”
She mirrors the tilt of his head as she purses her lips and flits her big cartoon eyes over his features. Whatever she sees has her conceding with a softly spoken, “Lucy.”
Or: Two damaged people become traveling companions and sex each other up across the US map, not realizing the relationship they're forging in those moments and all the ones in between, until they suddenly do.

Of course, Steve’s presentation happens at the most unfortunate time.
Well, probably not the most unfortunate, if Steve actually thinks about it. He’s very glad that it didn’t happen in school and that nobody knows about his business, but it does happen in the first week of summer break, which is pretty much the second most unfortunate time, because it’s the only week of summer break his parents had planned to spend at home. But now, Steve’s lying in his bed and despite feeling hot all over, he's shivering. The air around him smells sickly sweet from his still developing scent.
Steve’s a fucking omega.
