Neteyam’s voice comes from behind him, already tired.“I am slow,” Lo’ak lies, darting between roots anyway. He laughs when his foot catches and he nearly eats dirt.
Neteyam grabs his arm before he can fall. Reflexive. Sure.
“Eywa,” Neteyam mutters. “You’re gonna break your neck one day.”
Lo’ak beams up at him. “You always catch me.”

He isn't looking at Suho but he can feel his eyes on him, hear him lean to hover over Beomseok.
“You're not cute?” Suho parrots, amusement and something else in his voice. “Really, huh?”

“h-hey,” a soft voice calls out, just barely above a whisper causing sieun to snap his head up to see beomseok tearfully staring at him. “it… it didn’t get you… right?” he asks quietly. sieun feels suho’s eyes bore into him, raking him up and down.
sieun shakes his head, meeting suho’s eyes and holding them with an intensity he didn’t really mean before turning back to beomseok.
“it didn’t get me.” sieun tries to make his voice sound bigger than it actually was but fails. his words come out shaky and a little unsure but he would know if he’d gotten bit — if that’s how you even turn into one of those things.
beomseok makes a strangled little sound, nodding his head before he’s hiding back into the safety of his knees. sieun turns back to suho who looks a little unsure of himself. “it didn’t get you either.” he says in a soft voice, barely sounding like himself. his eyes locking in on suho’s.

its the end of the word as they know it. sieun never expected himself to fall in love but here he is in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, willing to die for not just one boy but two.

He clears his throat and looks away. His eyes dropping to his empty plate. “I don’t know,” he says softly. “No one ever did.”
Suho exhales somewhere between disbelief and indignation. The movie is still playing but neither of them even pretends to care now. The moaning from the screen is just background noise at this point.
“That’s a shame,” Suho murmurs.
Then, he adds, “Wanna bet?”
Or, Suho eats Sieun out until he cries.
