Summary
An aggressive, cunning ruler who’s just trying not to fall apart at the seams as he tries to end a century-long war against Shiratorizawa. He’s betrayed the night of his and his twin’s birthday, by none other than his own twin and husband. They had been moles, he had suspected it, he always knew his brother would be the one who would try to orchestrate his downfall, it was inevitable. He just hoped he would survive long enough to win this war. Perhaps the miracle he needed came in the shape of Itachiyama’s Ruler. But his past with the Ruler of Itachiyama was clouded with emotions he wouldn't dare name.

Summary
There’s a running myth in Vixen, a story of identical twins, in the myth they’re depicted as fox Yōkais, and they’re often referred to as beautiful and majestic in the myth, it is said that they once protected Vixen together, that they were unstoppable and beyond powerful. People often called them gods.
They fought for Vixen in many battles, they were always victorious. They were thought to be invincible and immortal. That was until the older of the two twins was killed in the great battle of Kurai Hono against the dark spirit known as Kurayami. Vixen became a war-ridden district, only being able to fight back properly when the last remaining twin bestowed the gift of magic upon the youngest current and future generations. A way for them to fight back and a way for the Yōkai to honour his brother.
The last of the Yōkai Twins disappeared after he gave the people of Vixen their magic, he was believed to have died, to finally be at peace in the afterlife with his brother. It's also believed that they were to be reborn, to be together once more.
But who believes in fairy-tales?
