Summary
What if Luomen wasn’t forced out of the rear palace causing the major scandal for the La Clan? The implications it would have had on Maomao’s birth, and her subsequent upbringing would be significant. Related, what if the incident involving Jinshi’s upbringing had happened differently? How might this have changed not only his relationship with the Emperor but also with his birth mother.
Expect major plot canon divergence, little children Jinshi and Maomao who grow up around each other, and plenty of misunderstandings between them because those two freaks can’t get their shit together no matter what timeline/universe they are in (I say lovingly because they are perfect separately and for each other ok bye!).
