Summary
Link frowned, unable to face the jolly bard. Kass had known him before he knew himself, passed on to him his own legends until he understood his own myth. If anyone besides Zelda would know, wouldn’t it be him? “You said it was her love for me that awakened her power.” Kass waited for him to continue. “Did I love her back?”
“You clearly cared about her a great deal, Link, probably more than anything else in the kingdom,” Kass said to him quietly.
Link set his jaw. He was afraid of that answer, afraid of what he had known deep down was the truth. “But did I love her back?” He asked, unwilling to accept such a vague answer. He needed the truth. He needed to hear it.
Kass clicked his beak, perhaps impatiently. Link began to tap his foot with his nerves. “Not the way she loved you,” Kass said quietly. “Not then, to my master’s knowledge.”
Link swallowed hard. Anticipating Kass’s answer had not made the words easier for him to hear.
Damn that court poet, Link thought. Oh, how he would have loved to see Link pine helplessly now.

It all stops immediately when he speaks. Sunghoon straightens up with wide eyes as he cleans his mouth with the back of his sleeve. The sleeve of the nice suit Sunoo handpicked. “Fuck, you scared me.”
Had it been a different scenario, Sunoo would have probably laughed. Sunghoon was usually so hard to scare. “I thought vampires had better hearing than humans, you couldn’t hear me coming?”
“No, I wasn’t… -I didn’t-”
The moon shines, bright and beautiful, over Sunghoon’s flustered face. And Sunoo's heard the full moon made people act crazy, but he had never actually believed it. Not until that moment.

"Just kiss me then," Sunghoon says bluntly. His face was illuminated by the blue lights from his phone screen. "If you so badly want to experience it, just kiss me."
Sunoo thinks that his best friend is completely stupid, and that Sunghoon doesn’t have that brain-to-mouth filter that all people possess. Maybe he was dropped as a baby, or maybe he ate something gross when he was a kid. Whatever happened to him before, it definitely screwed with his brain and logic.
Who the hell suggests that kind of thing?

Link stares at her, at this beautiful girl he only remembers in thirteen fragments, and shakes his head. He doesn’t remember that much about himself, but he knows that he’s not a liar. “Not all of you, Princess.”
Something in her face changes, her eyebrows on the verge of furrowing. “Princess?”
Frowning, Link nods. “Princess Zelda. I…I am getting your name right, right?”
Right? He doesn’t remember hearing it that much in his memories but it’s what Rhoam said on the Great Plateau, that his daughter is Princess Zelda and that he had to save her as soon as possible-
“Is it?” she asks. “My…My name is Princess Zelda?”
“What…” he trails off. “What do you mean? You don’t…You don’t know your own name?”
OR
Link finally saves Zelda from Calamity Ganon's clutches, desperate for her to tell him who he is. It turns out she doesn't know him, either.

At this, Hanbin lets out a soft ‘oh’, as if he can’t remember they had already been introduced to each other.
It is said Fortune smiles once upon those who are friends of fairies and twice upon those who shelter a fairy under their roof. And a King's Fortune shines upon the one whom a fairy chooses to marry.
Despite everything that is said about fairies and their good luck and fortune, Zhang Hao never feels too graced by that blessing.

It’s a pretty random time to fall in love, and later, Sicheng will ask the universe for a re-do— but right now, he just chalks the strange flutter in his chest up to utter exhaustion and waits for his waffles to arrive.
