"Yeah, sorry, Yo. I got sent this report no one could be bothered to fix, so I gotta get to that before the mornin'." Karasu's eyes remained glued to the screen of the laptop, reading glasses lazily placed on the bridge of his nose.
"... Right." A soft sigh escaped Hiori. "I'm goin' to bed. Be sure to put Ginger in her crate when ya' lock up..." He gave the Shiba Inu a quick pat on the head.
"Will do." Karasu quickly glanced at him, as he watched Hiori make his way to the hallway. "... I'm sorry, Yo."
He paused. "No, you're not."

Nanase didn’t know why, in his head, dango on the beach meant going through the crowded streets of the city when night had fallen and everyone wandered in search of dinner when they could have found dango even in Kyoto. No, wait, Kyoto didn’t have a beach. So, maybe, his idea hadn’t been the worst. He hoped so, he felt bad enough at the thought that they had been going around since early morning, he didn’t want to exhaust them at all, but they… were more than happy to be there, and Nanase felt the exact same way, so… Sure, the mole of people was almost unbearable, but at least they had already eaten, and now, hand in hand in the middle of the unfamiliar, they just needed to… find the reason why they were there.
