Her nose wrinkles, elbows coming up to rest on the table. “I don’t like it.”
Crosshair’s lips part, searching around invisible words as he glares with an increasing sense of incredulity. “You’re not supposed to like it. You’re supposed to give me answers so we don’t have to keep wasting time sitting in this kriffing room!”
Of all the reactions to his words, he doesn’t expect her eyes to brighten, or a giggle to escape her lips. “You sound like Tech. Sometimes he mutters bad words like that when he’s working and thinks Hunter isn’t around to hear.”

Summary
“Hunter?” Rex spoke into his comms, surveying the prisoner slumped before him. “I should think you would want to see this.” Around him, Gregor knelt by the body, checking for a heartbeat as Howzer cut the chains away from the wall, being careful to lower the prisoner’s limbs gently. He looked in rather bad condition, covered in cuts and blood, especially around the neck and his hands. His silver hair was bloodstained and matted, and considerably longer than normal.
“Is it Omega?” Hunter’s voice came over the comms, gravely and strained.
“No.” Rex answered, frowning slightly at Hunter’s tone. It sounded... obsessed, Rex thought. He continued watching the other two clones removing the cuffs from the thin clone. Crosshair’d always been rather thin and lanky, but he was clearly starving. His ribs were very obvious behind his ragged shirt, and Rex winced as he realized both of Crosshair’s arms lay at angles too sharp to be possible without a serious break in the bones.
“What is it?”
“It’s someone who you might know.”
“Crosshair?” Tech spoke, his voice a little more high-pitched than normal.

Summary
Trapped at Mount Tantiss, it's hard to find any hope. Losing Tech, being torn from her family, turned into a prisoner of the Empire all in one day weighs heavily on Omega. But she's trying to keep faith, and connect with Crosshair-finally reunited with him. Crosshair who's supposed to be hard as iron and sharp as a new vibroblade-but before her is defeated and apathetic. Cracks in resolve can only handle so much before a dam breaks.
But maybe all hope isn't lost and cracks can be mended.

Tech cleared his throat. “Hunter?” He twisted his head to look at the sergeant, and Hunter’s dust-smudged face cracked a tense smile in response. Worry flitted across his face and he pressed a gentle but firm palm to Tech’s sternum to make sure he stayed in place.

Tech furrowed his brows. “I feel fine.”

Any of those places could have once been considered home, yet torn apart as they are by regimes, principles, and even death, there is no longer any place that could be considered home for Clone Force 99. But even despite that, they’ve never been a family to back down from impossible odds and insurmountable obstacles. Their success rate may no longer be 100%, but the mission isn’t over until they’re all back together, and wherever they are together is where home can be found.
A fix-it fic that picks up right where S2:E16 left off and contains this writer's hopes for what season 3 may bring.

A fix-it fic because I am convinced Tech isn't dead. Fluffy romance/awkwardness between Tech and Phee as he navigates not only his new situation but his feelings for her.

Set Post Season 2: Omega is on Tantiss, Crosshair’s giving up, and Hunter’s out for blood. Where everyone else falls on the spectrum is soon to be revealed.

“What did you say?” she whispers. “You’re supposed to say ‘Kamino,’” Omega presses, hushed but insistent, not daring to speak any louder. “That’s what you said the first time. How do you know about Mount Tantiss?”
“Because…” Hunter blinks hard, seemingly unable to look away from Omega either. “Because that…that’s where…that’s where you are.”
