Akk’s hiding something from him, Theo’s sure of it. They’ve been friends their whole lives, Theo’s earliest memories all featuring him in some way, and if Akk thinks he hasn’t noticed all the telltale signs of something being amiss, the fidgeting and averted gazes, then he doesn’t know Theo at all.
Whatever it is, it has Akk’s anxiety spiking to astronomical levels; Theo has never seen him quite like this – as if he’s about to vibrate out of his own skin.
