Lan Xichen didnt say anything but only looked at Jiang Cheng, ready to cry.
Finally with a sigh, Jiang Cheng waved for the big man to come forward, “Xichen come here.. Why are you here? Did we set a meeting?”
“Wanyin, wanyin, wanyin. Why? Why didn’t you tell me?” Lan Xichen had started to cry as he brought Jiang Cheng’s hand to his cheek. His face was full of grief, anxiety, and desperation.
Jiang Cheng was little surprised, but he quickly replied, “If your Shufu isn’t able to help me, what could you do? Xichen, everyone’s life has an end unless those cultivate to become an immortal, My life is just ending earlier than others.“
“...It was inevitable for me anyway, since, I had suddenly qi deviate. But, why do you want to cultivate together?” Their relationship was uncertain. Even Jiang Cheng didn’t know where they stood. Though, he did very much so like Lan Xichen, it was impossible.
