Summary
When an unscrupulous duke sends his guards to ambush Geralt and Jaskier on the road, they hardly pose a problem for the Witcher. One of them, however, does not understand how thoroughly he's sealed his own fate by laying a hand on Geralt's bard.

The Witcher stepped over the guard’s body as though it were an errant log, his eyes focused entirely on Jaskier. The bard was staring at Geralt with an awed expression, blood dripping sluggishly from his nose and down until it dripped from his upper lip. Geralt stepped in close to Jaskier and took the bard’s face in his hands, angling it this way and that to examine the damage. After a quick assessment, Geralt grunted and ripped his bloodied gloves off, throwing them on the ground and cupping Jaskier’s face once again. A calloused thumb gently swept the blood away from Jaskier’s lip.- Language:

Summary
As Jaskier struggles to regain his footing after Geralt cast him aside on the mountain, he soon finds that destiny is not done bringing Geralt into his life, whether he wants The Witcher there or not. When Geralt hears the bard's latest song and feelings begin to come to light, it is up to the Witcher to see if his friendship with Jaskier can be salvaged, and up to Jaskier to determine whether he can allow Geralt back into his life.

Summary
Zood is truly a beautiful place. Torse is endlessly glad to have been given the opportunity to explore it, to see its skies and its lands, its flora and fauna. Today, bereft of any pressing action to take while the crew of the Zephyr resupply and refuel, he wanders a small forest of blue trees and red flowers, the grass soft underneath his feet. He can sense softness, now. The crew of the Zephyr have given him that - Marya, specifically, but he would not have known to ask her had Maxwell not gifted him a plush scarf, found at a Bazaar in some city. He had not told Maxwell about the extra wires she had soldered into him, but he keeps the scarf tucked under his breastplate, a token from a fair maiden.
Maxwell is not his fair maiden. It had simply been a gift. It would behoove him to remember that.

Summary
The staff meeting after Cat had broken her foot had involved a lot of reassigning, since she couldn’t exactly do the usual society beat with her foot in a boot. So much that Clark hadn’t really thought twice when Perry had said “and Kent, you’ll take the new Wayne foundation piece,” because sure, he liked working the philanthropy stories occasionally. It wasn’t until they’d gotten back to their desks that Lois had burst into a fit of snickering and said “oh, I would pay money to see how you’re going to handle Bruce Wayne for two weeks,” and Clark had realized how majorly screwed he was.
