Summary
For all their life, Till was there for Ivan, even during the days where he was much harder to deal with. Especially during the days when Ivan felt as if he had no other place to turn to — He knew that Till was always there, ready to let Ivan into his messy apartment he shared with his mother, who he’d reunited with after a messy custody battle with his uncle.
That’s why he wants to be there for Till, too. Despite the fact that he’d been deeply and irrevocably in love with his best friend since that day in the playground, he’d done nothing but support every infatuation, fling, and relationship Till found himself in. And anytime Till would find himself in situations only he could idiotically get into, Ivan was heading to him with a taser to boot, just in case.
He would do anything for Till. And that’s his biggest problem.

Summary
Till promised himself he wouldn’t show such a sour mood in front of everyone, but he underestimated just how egregious their flirting would be. Really, they should be thankful — He’d been wanting to strangle Luka the moment he brushed a thumb over the spilled soju on the edges of Ivan’s mouth. They should all count themselves lucky he hasn’t jumped across the table and broken the blonde’s wrist.
From beside him, Hyuna didn’t seem to be faring well either. If he had any doubts about her feelings on Luka during their filming, he certainly didn’t have them now. Some part of him does find it strange that the blonde turned his attention to Ivan when he’d been falling over himself to impress the brunette on set.
Is it really that strange, though? Till thinks, teal eyes glancing over at Ivan, heart thumping in his chest as he quietly admires his softness. His cheeks rosy from the liquor, black hair silky and downy, smooth and supple skin peeking out from where the younger man had unzipped his hoodie and lowered his shirt from the warmth of the alcohol.

Luka and Ivan have started dating. Till isn't very happy about it.

Summary
“When I get famous, I’ll steal you away from them. Then you can study something you actually like. Not this… Business shit.”
“I’ll be the great Till’s little housewife?” Ivan teases, and that grabs Till’s attention away from his frustration. The frown on his face turns into fond annoyance.
Despite his expression, Till’s response is genuine, “If that’s what you want,” he says, before smiling, small and soft, “or you could study the stars. Teach me what they mean the next time the sky’s clear enough to see all of them.”
Ivan softens, looking at Till with the warmest look in his eyes, “You don’t want to just learn them yourself?”
“Things are better when you say them.” Till says, earnestly. Ivan is gripped with affection, and the need to pepper kisses all over his face.
(But he can’t. He hasn’t been able to for months. It’s starting to drive him insane.)

Ivan tries to survive college with his only support system miles away from him. It goes as well as you think.

A single moment is enough to change everything. In the quiet, Till finds the courage to reach out. In the quiet, Ivan finds the bravery to accept the olive branch.
The love is there. It is real, and it is felt. It changes everything. It changes nothing at all.

Summary
Maybe in another life, Till wouldn’t have had the time or the capacity to comprehend how Ivan’s fucked up little head works. Maybe in that life, they would have never known how it felt to love and be loved in return.
But that life isn’t this life, and Till knows everything there is to know about Ivan, and he loves him. He loves him so much that it aches on most days when he can’t be around him, his heart not being able to carry the love he couldn’t pour into the other half of his soul.
Okay, that’s pretty cheesy, Till thinks, as he makes a mental note to write it down for the next song he writes about Ivan.

He thinks, sometimes, in the afterglow of sex and high hormones, that he wouldn't mind dating Phil. Anyone would be lucky to date him – he knows that for a fact. Phil would be the most caring and attentive partner in the world. He'd make you soup when you were sick even though he hates soup. He'd buy you chocolates just because he felt you were a bit sad, even though you're a bit sad a lot. And he'd take whatever you had to give, and he wouldn't ask for any more than you offered even though he deserved the sun, the moon, and all of the universe's creations.
So that's why he also knows he can't date Phil. And that, really, he should start putting some distance between them. Phil would see soon that Dan's bad days outnumber his good, and although he has so far managed to keep Phil sheltered away from the worst of it, nobody could love him at his most self-destructive. He'll lose it eventually, and he'll shout and he'll swear and he'll push, and Phil doesn't deserve any of that.
So, yes, Dan should start putting some distance between them.
